Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay

With everything that is happening around us right now, it can be easy to feel powerless, but there are aspects of our life we can manage and control.

We want you to embrace what is in your power to start doing, stop doing or change – something that will support your mental health.

So, ask yourself… what can you do to make mental health your number one priority?

Mental health and coming from an armed forces or veteran family

There are many things about living in a forces family which can affect how children and young people can feel on any given day.

They have told us deployment of loved ones, regular relocations, and all the disruption it can bring to education, friendships and much more, can affect their mental health and wellbeing.

That’s why we worked with them to co-develop our Your Mind Matters digital platform, which received funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust to make happen.

We have co-developed lots of information and resources which is now available to help their peers to better understand and enhance mental health.

It’s not just for children and young people; it’s for everyone!  Our information and resources can help parents and carers, educators and professionals too.

Go on, check it out for yourself.

We brought young people together for a creative residential to have fun, share their unique experiences and help create lots of the resources which are now available.

Is there something you’d like to ask us about mental health and wellbeing?

Please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will respond as soon as we can.
