Naval and Royal Marine Family Consultation

We are working in partnership with the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust, and Greenwich Hospital to improve local services for families across Scotland.

The consultation is about understanding the challenges faced by this community across Scotland, the local services that work for families, and what else should be considered to make a real difference to parents, and their young people.

There are two ways for families to have their say.

Drop-in sessions in Helensburgh.

Face-to-face drop-in sessions will run for parents and young people at the Drumfork Centre, Helensburgh on Monday 22 April, from 1pm-3pm and 5pm-7pm. Soft play facilities and refreshments will be available.

Please get in touch with Natalie, who will happily answer your questions about the sessions, by clicking ‘Contact us’ below.

Online Survey.

The partnership organisations have also developed a five-minute online survey for families who live in wider regions across Scotland and want to have their say.

Please click on our ‘Start survey’ button below to get started – submission deadline is 11pm on Monday 22 April 2024.

What we will do once we have heard from families.

We will get together with funders and charities that support this community on Tuesday 23 April 2024 to review what’s been said.

What families tell us through the consultation will prove vital for funders and charities to deliver services that will make a real difference to parents and young people from Naval and Royal Marine families across Scotland.
