Our CPD certified webinars are free to attend and provide an opportunity to explore experiences, consider impacts on their lives, and identify practical solutions as part of your ongoing professional development activities.
Completion of our CPD training will generate a CPD certificate and continuing professional development points.
Forces Children Scotland’s Learning and Development Worker, Judith Blair, will deliver our CPD webinars throughout the year, who has this to say to those interested in attending.
“We’ve developed our series of webinars to help professionals deliver effective support to children from serving, reservist, and veteran families in Scotland with the unique challenges that service life can pose.
Aimed at colleagues across sectors such as the education, local authority, healthcare, and voluntary sectors, or anyone else who wants to make a positive impact on the lives of forces children in Scotland, our webinars document first-hand lived experiences of the children and young people we work with.
Engaging with our webinars will help professionals to develop and share knowledge about the unique lived experience of forces children across Scotland.
Our webinars reference the UNCRC ensuring that a rights-based approach informs our learning and professional discussion, amplifying the voices of children and young people to ensure they receive the best support across all sectors.”
