We all face significant financial challenges right now, that much is very clear.
We have launched a call for donations having received growing numbers of applications for financial support from armed forces and veteran families facing financial crisis this Christmas.
We have seen a 30% rise in applications, and we need your help to ensure we can support every family who turns to Forces Children Scotland when they need us most.
We are asking you to donate whatever you can afford to support families within the armed forces community facing significant challenges, due to the cost-of-living crisis.
Your donation will reach families across Scotland through our Crisis Quick Reaction Fund, to cover life’s essentials, to reduce stress and anxiety and much more this Christmas.
Please consider donating what you can afford as a one-off single donation or a regular monthly gift, via Direct Debit.
The grants we provide help to cover energy bills as well as the price of food shopping, winter clothing, many essentials for their children, and much more.
Right now, there are over 12,500 children and young people living in armed forces and veteran families across Scotland – 46% are facing significant financial hardship this Christmas.
