This pivotal role will drive the organisation’s mission to empower and improve the lives of over 13,000 children from armed forces communities across Scotland.
The new CEO will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Forces Children Scotland by co-developing a new three-year strategic vision together with beneficiaries and wider stakeholders.
Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, foster innovation, and build sustainable growth.
They will be responsible for enhancing the charity’s profile, securing funding, and ensuring the effective delivery of projects and services that make a real difference in the lives of children and their families.

Working in partnership with Aspen People and Beyond HR to deliver the recruitment process, candidates are asked to submit their CV and covering letter by 5pm on Friday 23 August 2024.
Committed to embedding the voice of beneficiaries at the heart of everything it does, candidates are asked to submit a child friendly version of their credentials, as well as prepare to attend a children and young people’s panel, should they progress to the next phase of the process.

We put the lived experience of children and young people from this community at the heart of everything we do, and work directly with our team to co-produce our projects, services, and campaigns to ensure we collaborate as a collective force for good to achieve our vision of making Scotland a place where all children & young people from armed forces communities can realise their potential and thrive.
