Did you know that there are over 12,500 children from armed forces communities living in Scotland?
Open to anyone in the community, we are raising awareness and celebrating the unique experiences of military children for Month of the Military Child.
You might have someone in your family serving or who has served in the British Army Forces and looking to forge new connections and share experiences.
Most importantly, you might be a military child who wants to connect with peers who have shared experiences or to find out more about how we can help.
We are bringing communities together for the Month of the Military Child.

Get involved in scrapbooking, and create mood boards to reflect on positive memories and your plans for the future. All of this is geared to encourage you to think about your own experiences and aims in life, and to reflect on these positively.
We’ll get you thinking positively about everything and anything!
Learn more about how we put experiences of military children at the heart of everything we do, through our projects, services, and campaigns. Read stories from military children through our zines and comic book. Better still, listen to their experiences through our interactive shoeboxes, videos, and much more.
We have lots of leaflets and resources to take away too!
Have some fun through our team-building and problem-solving activities. Each game, some designed by children from this community, is linked to the experiences of military children and designed to help enhance understanding and empathy.
You never know, there may be some prizes up for grabs!
Snacks and cold drinks will be available. A small inclusion area will be provided with sensory bags in case a regulation break is needed. Parents are to remain with their children at all times.
