Forces Children Scotland invites educators and professionals to attend a free online webinar to introduce the experiences and views of children and young people from armed forces and veteran families communities.
This accredited co-learning session explores the experiences of young carers within armed forces and veteran families, recognising the various circumstances that lead to children from this community gaining additional caring responsibilities. This session will introduce being a young carer from the perspectives of children and young people from Armed Forces families. The co-learning space will provide opportunities for participants to learn from each other and to reflect on the information provided by young people.
Anyone with an interest in this subject is invited to join us at this learning session. However, we encourage anyone who has contact with children from the forces community to attend, so that young people in this community with caring responsibilities are better identified and supported.
On completion of the webinar, there is an opportunity to give feedback and a certificate will be issued on successful completion of the course.
