We have two exciting new vacancies for a full-time and sessional wellbeing Worker.
Funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has enabled Forces Children Scotland to pilot face-to-face mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people from armed forces and veteran families in the West of Scotland.
Both roles will deliver one-to-one, peer, and group mental health and wellbeing support to pupils from armed forces and veteran families in Hermitage Academy, Helensburgh as well as develop community outreach strands within the region.
Forces Children Scotland is committed to ensuring the lived experiences of children and young people are at the heart of everything we do and the role holder will work directly with this group to co-produce learning resources for several audiences.
Role holders will also work collaboratively with the wider team, as well as children and young people, to develop online mental health and wellbeing resources and tools to enhance our Your Mind Matters Digital Platform.
Please submit your CV and cover letter (no more than 1000 words) to admin@forceschildrenscotland.org.uk by 9am on Monday 21 November 2022.
Interviews are anticipated to commence w/c Monday 28 November 2022. For an informal discussion about the role, please contact hannah.johnstone@forceschildrenscotland.org.uk
