Education & Aspiration Funding

We understand life can present financial challenges for many different reasons.

We believe no child or young person should face obstacles to realising their potential and thriving in whatever they are passionate about.

We can provide a little financial help to cover things like school uniforms, school trips, private tuition and after-school activities.

We can also help to cover costs of sports equipment, music and dance tuition, creative activities and much more.

Even things like covering travel costs, to participating in sporting competitions and many other similar requests will be considered.

What we can fund

Here’s an idea of what we have funded recently to support children and young people from armed forces communities to realise their potential and thrive.

  • School uniforms/hoodies/school shoes
  • Sporting equipment – football boots/running shoes, etc
  • Musical instruments & tuition
  • Creative writing/art sessions
  • Dance lessons & tuition materials
  • Aspirational visits to performing arts venues
  • Trips to visit museums and art galleries.

Who we can support

Please note that we can only support children and young people from armed forces and veteran families living in Scotland.

We can support children and young people who meet the following criteria:

  • Between the ages of 5-18 attending primary or secondary school
  • From a Scottish serving or veteran family residing within the UK
  • From a non-Scottish serving or veteran family residing in Scotland
