We are delighted that the Scottish Youth Parliament’s 2021-26 manifesto ‘From Scotland’s Young People’ recognises Armed Forces children and young people as a group with distinct experiences whose voices are often overlooked.
Young people from our Youth Participation Project took part in focus group sessions with SYP to help inform the manifesto and we are very proud to see their voices feature strongly in the manifesto. At RCET, we are committed to facilitating, supporting, and promoting the meaningful participation and engagement of Armed Forces children and young people through our Youth Participation Project and we look forward to working with SYP and our young people to ensure their voices are heard by those in power.
The manifesto can be found online here.
