We have continued to support children and young people from serving, reservist and veteran families to overcome unique challenges to education and learning throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Home schooling, extended examination periods and evolving priorities within primary and secondary schools have meant many of our outcomes have been achieved in very different ways than before.

Much of our work has focused on developing new ways of providing advice, support and training to education professionals, via digital means.

We have successfully co-produced new resources with children and young people as well as establish partnerships across the education and third sectors to contribute our expertise to a variety of projects which aim to enhance continual professional development opportunities.

What’s more, we have successfully worked in partnership with universities across Scotland to develop digital resources which have served to inspire academic aspiration and encourage young people from serving, reservist and veteran families to explore pathways to positive futures via university and college.
