We have made fantastic progress in our work which serves to bridge the gap between the unique experiences of our children and young people with those making important decisions about their future at a local, regional and national level.
We worked directly with children and young people to co-produce our first Manifesto ahead of the Scottish Parliament elections this year, which focused on four priority areas of mental health and wellbeing, education and learning, participation in decision-making and collation of data.
We have continued to share our knowledge and expertise, via digital formats, across a wide range of cross-party policy forums and have successfully strengthened our working relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within civilian and military sectors, as well as proactively engaged with politicians from the Scottish and UK Governments.
Our current policy priorities include:
- Participation and Engagement of Armed Forces Children & Young People
- Mental Health & Wellbeing
- Education & Learning
